Like sunshine in a kit, Raffia is perfect for making drool-worthy summer styles like hats and bags. Made from 100% paper, Raffia is eco-friendly, biodegradable and oh-so-chic. The versatile fibre can be woven, braided, twisted, or crocheted.

Our gorgeous yarn is custom dyed and spun to order. This does mean that they might be a slight variance in colour between dye lots.

We'll always do our best to colour match if you do run out of yarn, however if you're not sure how much you need it may be worth throwing in an extra ball for good measure.

Raffia sun hat
Really liked using the raffia, and it made for a nice beach hat. With variations in colour of the seashell, it gives the work a more interesting finish.

So lovely!
The Sea Shell raffia is such a beautiful natural colour, with gorgeous colour variances and it seems super tough but it's easy to work with. Only let down is that it doesn't unspool very well - I tried to keep it all together as I worked but it gets easily tangled as it unspools. Worth it for the beautiful material and colour though!
